Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at windwalkeroffice@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Windwalker Farms is not a boarding barn. We're a natural horsemanship teaching facility.

Horses purchased from us may continue to live here on a short term bases throughout the partnership assurance lesson program included with the purchase of your horse, as long as the horse is continuing training and the rider is taking a minimum of 1 lesson per week. The partnership assurance lesson program includes: 2 months of board and 24 lessons that expire at the end of the 2nd month. If you would like to stay longer then 2 months (max of 6) you can do so as long as your continuing lessons (minimum of 1 lesson per week). Lessons are $60 each or you can purchase a lesson punch card if your in a weekly lesson slot (4 for $200 or 10 for $450) board is an additional $500 per month, the first 2 months of board are included in the partnership assurance program.

Windwalker training isn't a discipline (English or Western) its more of a philosophy. We go deep into understanding the horses mind. We teach horsemanship through education and adventure! The equipment we use is the best we can find from all disciplines plus some that we have custom made. We chose to ride in Australian saddles, over a lifetime of trail riding and starting colts we find they offer the most comfort and security available.

Our career path is broken down into 3 phases:

•Phase #1: Completing our 12 week internship training program.

•Phase #2: Coming onboard as an unpaid intern as you continue to learn our program.

•Phase #3: Joining our team as a paid team member on payroll as you continue in your horsemanship journey.

For information on applying for Phase #1 visit our Windwalker Academy page.
