Our home school classes are offered every Tuesday or Wednesday for 10-week sessions. 

Fall Session: Sept. 16th - Nov. 19th 2025 ~ REGISTRATION OPEN!!!

Winter Session: Jan. 6th - March 12th 2026 

Spring Session: March 17th - May 20th 2026

There is no better way to learn animal science than on a farm! Join us this year as we learn about working farm dogs, raising rabbits & chickens, vermiculture, cool weather planting, fruit trees & cross pollination, water & manure management, and the similarities and differences between llamas, alpacas, & camels, and so much more! 

Cost: $250 per session. A $50 non-refundable deposit (per session) is due to reserve a spot. Balance of $200 due at the first class. No make-up days or refunds for missed classes. In the unfortunate case of a snow day we’ll send class material over via email including a video and pdf later in the week. Each session is 10 weeks long. We do have a multiple-student discount of $200 per student per session ($50 deposit per child and $150 balance per child).

For our Preschool Class (ages 18 months to 3 years), we kindly ask that parents remain on-site. You are welcome to walk the property, sit in on the class, relax in our lounge room, or even stay in your car with a good book & coffee!

For our classes for ages 4 to 16, parents have the option to either stay or drop off their children, depending on what works best for your family's needs.

If you have multiple children close in age, they can attend class together. The older child can join the younger age group, or if the younger child is mature enough, they can participate in the older age group with their sibling. Alternatively, they can attend their own age group and attend the separate classes. We strive to be as flexible and accommodating as possible to meet your family's needs.

• Wear leggings or pants that can get dirty! No shorts. 
• Wear boots that can get muddy & dirty! We prefer boots but old tennis shoes will work just no flats or sandals, please. 
• Have children dress weather appropriate. Class will be held outside down at our petting farm as much as possible.
• Winter Session: Our indoor is heated in the winter but please bring warm layers (snow pants, gloves, and a coat).
• Address: 9204 Valley View Dr. Fenton MI 48430 | Once you drive under the Windwalker Farms archway keep going up the driveway past all the tan apartment buildings. You will come to a white sign on your right pointing you down to the main barn. Park where ever you would like.
