We’re striving to create a team of trainers & instructors that have higher expectations of horses by developing a better understanding of the horse's mind and how they communicate.

Windwalker Academy is broken down into 2 phases:
Phase 1: Windwalker Academy Instructor Training Internship
The Windwalker Academy 12 week internship is an immersive, hands-on instructor development program designed for individuals who want to grow into confident, knowledgeable natural horsemanship instructors.
Through hands-on experience, mentorship, and daily involvement in our programs, interns will begin developing the skills needed to become effective instructors while learning what it takes to be part of a professional natural horsemanship program.
What This Program Entails:
Natural Horsemanship Development
Instructor Training & Teaching Skills
Professional Growth & Leadership Development
Farm & Program Immersion
Schedule Commitment:
Interns must commit to a minimum of two consistent 4-hour shifts per week for the full 12-week internship.
Additional hours are encouraged for those who want to become more immersed in the program. The more time an intern spends learning, assisting, and participating, the more opportunities they will have to develop their skills, take on additional responsibilities, and demonstrate readiness for future instructor opportunities.
Intern schedules must remain consistent each week throughout the program (example: every Monday and Wednesday from 4:30pm–8:30pm).
Available Internship Hours:
This internship is designed for individuals who are serious about developing themselves as horsemen and women, educators, and future natural horsemanship instructors.
Upon completion of Phase 1, interns who demonstrate growth, dedication, and alignment with Windwalker’s values may be invited into Phase 2: Assistant Instructor Role, where they continue their education as paid instructors while growing within the Windwalker Farms team.
Phase #2: Assistant Instructor Role
Join our team as a paid instructor in training and continue your never ending educational journey in natural horsemanship.
